Recording guidance
Keep the whole pool visible where possible, use landscape orientation, avoid digital zoom and record the original-speed file. A fixed camera gives the clearest map, although PoolTrack can assess manageable handheld movement.
Large recordings
Use PoolTrack’s import workflow or resumable upload. Keep original recordings outside the application workspace as a separate backup. Footage should not be committed to GitHub.
Unclear pool boundary
Add a separate photograph showing the complete pool. PoolTrack will estimate an outline and ask the tester to review the video-to-pool alignment before interpreting the map.
Unexpected tracking
Inspect the restricted source footage and detector boxes. Glare, depth, partial visibility and camera movement can interrupt continuity. Automated percentages describe observation continuity, not proven detection accuracy.
Deleting a test
Open the test, choose Delete test and workspace files, then use the visible confirmation. This removes the PoolTrack workspace copy and related records. It does not remove the original recording stored elsewhere.
